Tidal water sits right behind the shell
A canal block means the groundwater moves with the tide. Draining a concrete pool on a site like that is the highest risk moment of the whole job, because an empty shell with water pressing underneath can lift or crack. Do I need a pool safety certificate to sell?
In Queensland pools are registered on the QBCC pool register and a certificate is issued by a pool safety inspector licensed by the QBCC, valid two years for a non-shared pool and one year for a shared pool. To sell you give the buyer a current certificate before settlement or a notice of no pool safety certificate. A new lease needs the certificate with no notice shortcut.
