Burpengary does not have one kind of pool, it has several, and they sit a few streets apart. Two very different jobs
On an acreage block, machine access to the pool is usually possible. Material comes in and out efficiently, there is somewhere to stack, and the crew can set up properly. The pools themselves are often larger, so the total is driven by surface area rather than by labour.
On a newer estate lot, you reach the pool through the garage or down a side path with the air conditioning unit in the way. Nothing larger than a barrow goes through. The pool is smaller, but a bigger share of the cost is the labour of moving everything by hand.

Creek flats and draining a pool
Properties closer to Burpengary Creek sit on lower ground where groundwater is a real consideration when a concrete shell is emptied. A renovator who works this area checks the hydrostatic relief valve, picks the timing, and keeps the pool empty for as short a period as practical.
